Seminar for men to be held

"Our aim is to contribute to building a developed society that is free of poverty and illiteracy."

EVATON.- The Thabang Development and Welfare Organisation will hold a seminar for men in Small Farms, Evaton on 13 September.

The organization offers services to men and boys that have been involved in Gender Based Violence (GBV). Sibongile Mashinini, an Administrator from the Thabang Development and Welfare Organisation, said that the seminar will focus on poverty eradication, self-empowerment, and societal development.

“Our aim is to contribute to building a developed society that is free of poverty and illiteracy. We also aim to provide support (psycho-support) to both men and boys.”

On the day of the event, Mashinini said, they will be having different stakeholders such as the Department of Health, Men’s forums, the Crime Prevention Unit, and different organizations.
