ORANGE FARM.- The Nkosana Ngobese Foundation (NNF) will present the Puppets Street Theater and Indigenous Music Carnival Parade in Orange Farm this Sunday, November 12.
The carnival will shut down Orange Farm from three locations, which are Mshengu Park EXT 1, Love Life Y Centre EXT 6 from 10:00, and the main stage Multi-Purpose Sports grounds opposite Boxer at 12:00.
“We are proud to announce that the ball is rolling and as we approach the big day, preparations are going well and we are ready to deliver a spectacular colourful event for the community. Our hardworking team is working diligently to make this dream happen and we can’t wait to spend the day with you,” said the organisers.

The first procession will begin from Love Life Y Centre and will be youth and contemporary-centric, while the group parading from Mshengu Park will be Indigenous Music and acts-centric. Both groups will converge at a single location the aforementioned Multi-Purpose sports ground at the main stage, where they will unite and fuse the old and the new school.

“Under the theme Revival Of Ubuntu, NNF aims to unite and foster a positive image of Orange Farm using the arts as a catalyst to meaningful change in our community. We also believe that such events should leave a meaningful impact on people’s lives hence we have given many artists and people from Orange Farm opportunities to work with us on the carnival for their own development. We are inviting Region G in its entirety to be part of this big celebration, this is a free family event, woza zwakala.”
