Vaal Marina SAPS’ exhibition successful

The exhibition aimed to allow the team to reach a larger audience and promote the services that SAPS and Agape Lerato Community Services render.

VAAL MARINA. – The Vaal Marina police held an exhibition in their policing precinct recently.

The exhibition was held in conjunction with the Auxiliary Social Worker from Agape Lerato Community Services, Somika Msungubali.

Vaal Marina Police Spokesperson, Tshilidzi De Huis said that the exhibition was conducted at the Vaal Marina urban area highlighting the following topics:

  • Domestic violence,
  • Importance of counseling and,
  • Liquor control.

“The exhibition aims to allow the team to reach a larger audience and promote the services that SAPS and Agape Lerato Community Services render within the community.  The team realised that some of the reasons our community in Vaal Marina is experiencing Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Domestic Violence are due to school drop-out, cohabitation, unemployment, and poverty.” De Huis said.
