SHARPEVILLE. – The Diniso Kasi Arts is hosting ‘Double Edge Arts Activities’ at both Diniso Arts Complex Theatre Art Gallery in Bedworthpark and opening a new art venue at 6290-IZA House Art Gallery in Phelindaba Section, Sharpeville from February 2.
The ‘Double Edge Arts Activities’ which are Diniso Arts’ One-Man stage plays and Ketane Kulture Movement music showcasing at Diniso Arts Complex Theatre Art Gallery in Bedworthpark taking place every Saturday and Sunday, will include Chess clinics.

The two one-man plays; ‘Shoeville-Ntate Dieta’ and ‘Ntate Dinepe’ by Iga-Makhulu Diniso will be staged at 15:00. Ketane Kulture Movement music showcasing TRUTH, (Iva-Nyaniso Diniso), will be throughout the day from noon. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster one of the South Africa award-winning actor, director, and published playwright veteran, Iga-Makhulu Diniso, who is also Diniso Arts’ Director said that the activity is in line with tourism locally and globally.

Diniso further said that the entire Sharpeville is a tourist destination, which befits to be declared an international heritage site by UNESCO due to its socio-political history and socio-cultural heritage based on the fact that it is the model township where the 21st March 1960 Sharpeville Massacre took place, the 3rd September 1984 Sharpeville rent boycotts started, and the 10th December 1996 South Africa’s Democratic Constitution was signed at George Thabe Stadium.
