Maxheke Secondary becomes problematic

The learners of the school have been reported to be troublesome with gangs being the main problem.

EVATON.- The Social Crime Prevention and Crime Prevention Wardens (CPW), and patrollers conducted a school search at Maxeke Secondary School, yesterday, Wednesday.

The combined law enforcement members were searching for dangerous weapons and objects that were not supposed to be at the school. The learners of the school have been reported to be troublesome with gangs being the main problem.

Evaton Police spokesperson, Sergeant Thulisile Msibi said that the school is having problems with ill-disciplined learners, and bullies who carry dangerous weapons.

Although no learner was arrested, Illicit cigarettes, drugs, and knives were removed from the school premises.
