SAVANAH CITY.- The Class Of 2023 top achievers were awarded for their hard work at the Sediwes Regional Awards held at Curro Academy in Savanah City on  February 26.

The awards were held to appreciate the efforts, selflessness, and hard work displayed by the individual learners of the Class of 2023.

These awards were sponsored by the Vodacom.

These awards which were organised by the Chief Director’s office are also an endeavor to inspire and drive home the current students who do grade 12, otherwise known as the Class of 2024. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Amelia Komane from the office of Chief Director hailed the awards as a great success.

She told Sedibeng Ster the awards were also held to appreciate the effort of the Class of 2023, but also to push the current students who do grade 12. She said the awards were divided into five categories including the best-performing district, Chief Director Special Award, and the best-performing learner to mention but few.

Komane said the Sediwes Region is formed by three districts namely, Gauteng West, Sedibeng East, and Sedibeng West.
