EVATON.- Keletso Sondezi (15)’s biggest dream is to play in the NBA (National Basketball Association) in the United States of America.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Sondezi was adamant that he would achieve his dream of playing in one of the biggest basketball leagues in the world.
He was speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport after his team Evaton Warriors was crowned the tournament champions at a tournament that was hosted by his club at VUT recently. To make it interesting his team was named after the same basketball club that he wishes to play for in the future, the Golden State Warriors Basketball Club in the USA.
No doubt, with his outstanding performance in the tournament, Sondezi is destined for a great future in basketball. This Esokwazi Secondary School, grade 9 student plays as a point guard. The position which he enjoys most. His coach, Jappie Phantoms told Sedibeng Ster Sport that, Sondezi is one of the best players in the team.
“Keletso is very dedicated and always gives 100% on what he is doing at training and games. I like his attitude attitude always eager to learn new things and I do not doubt that he will go places. He always tells me that he wants to play in the NBA and this is what pushes him at training,” said Hlalele.
This is what Sondezi said to Sedibeng Ster Sport, “I love this sport and I always watch NBA on television because I want to see myself playing there. It is my dream to play in the USA and make a name for myself,” he concluded.
