Mediclinic Emfuleni honours exceptional nursing staff

This is an ongoing recognition system, allowing Mediclinic to pursue and encourage an unrelenting focus on quality care.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Each year, Mediclinic takes a special day out to recognise the Group’s nurses and their amazing contribution to delivering the best possible care for patients. Last month, on May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birthday, Mediclinic acknowledged the vital role nurses play inside the Group’s hospitals and in their communities.
As part of this focus, Mediclinic has introduced the DAISY Awards, an international foundation that involves patients, their families and the community in a nomination process, and allows each hospital to recognise those nurses who go above and beyond in caring for their patients.
Anyone wishing to nominate a Mediclinic nurse who has made a significant impact during their hospital stay, can access the DAISY Award nomination form via the website: Mediclinic.co.za/Daisy. This is an ongoing recognition system, allowing Mediclinic to pursue and encourage an unrelenting focus on quality care.

Mediclinic Emfuleni in Vanderbijlpark recently announced this hospital’s Daisy Award winners: They are Professional nurses Bianca Bezuidenhout and Bradley Moabelo, who have exhibited care and dedication towards others. The winners are seen here with Nursing Manager Henda van der Merwe in die middle.
