Bafana’s family found

"Your newspaper truly works for the community. You are a lifesaver.”

SEDIBENG.- The Social Workers at Tembisa Hospital are thankful to Sedibeng Ster for helping them reunite a mentally ill patient with his family.

Sedibeng Ster reported on Monday that Bafana Tshabalala (17) from Savanna City was admitted at the Tembisa Hospital and was not able to give his family contacts.

He could only say that his brother is Bongani and sister is Phindile. He was picked up by police on May 19 this year. Social Workers at the hospital requested Sedibeng Ster to publish this information and his picture. Within hours of the story being published, Bafana’s family was located.

“We are thankful to your publication, continue to doing the wonderful work that you do. Your newspaper truly works for the community. You are a lifesaver,” a Social Worker at the Tembisa Hospital said.

Sedibeng Ster could not reach the Tshabalala family at the time of going to print.
