Sports organisation assists 100 families
"We also want to thank Al Tawheed Foundation for always putting the interest of the community first."
SEBOKENG.- Boiketlong Islamic Sports Organisation embarked on a community charity project on Saturday.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, the organisation’s chairperson, Mohau Kolisa said they managed to assist 100 families from Boiketlong community. The Ward 36 Councillor Mpho Kodisang was among the people invited to witness this generosity. He was tasked with giving food packages to the community members.

Kolisa told Sedibeng Ster Sport that this is a day the community won’t forget especially those who have no form of income. Kolisa said it was overwhelming to see how those community members appreciated this food package donation. He thanked the Al Tawheed Foundation for their contribution.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the ward councillor for putting his busy schedule aside to be with us today. He has been supporting community projects, especially charity projects like this one. His commitment doesn’t go unnoticed in the community and we are grateful to have such a leader within our community. This initiative was to make a difference for the less fortunate in Boiketlong,” Kolisa said.

According to Kolisa, the lack of employment in the community is a major issue.
“As Boiketlong Islamic Sports Organisation we try to help where we can. We also want to thank Al Tawheed Foundation for always putting the interest of the community first. They have helped contribute to these community projects,” concluded Kolisa.
