MIDVAAL – Midvaal Local Municipality’s excellence has been highlighted through three awards from PMR. Africa at the Golden Arrow Awards.

In the first category, the municipality was named the overall winner for municipalities doing the most to clean the environment and to develop and enhance infrastructure, the second award is for municipalities doing the most for job creation, social upliftment, attracting foreign investment, tourism, and fighting crime.

The third award was given to Executive Mayor, Alderman Peter Teixeira who was named the overall winner under the category of Proactive Mayors.

The PMR. Africa Awards recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of companies and institutions. The awards catalyze companies and institutions to elevate their standards in customer service, innovation, ethical practices, staff professionalism, and overall company reputation.

Teixeira said the municipality is honoured to receive prestigious PMR.africa awards, which recognise excellence, leadership, and innovation in service delivery.
