VEREENIGING – The Mekayla Memorial NPC has once again spread the love across Vereeniging, putting smiles on the faces of hundreds of young and old residents. This is as the organisation carried out its annual soup drive on July 19.

Following a successful instalment of the event that many look forward to, founder Anne-Marie Slabbert has expressed a heartfelt thank you to all her sponsors for making the event possible.

Slabbert thanked the Vanderbijlpark Rotary Club, Progress Bakery, Selepe Bearings, Premier Foods, Caring Daisies, Klipdraai Karavanpark, Alpha Pack, Hanelie Petrie, Lynca, CMW Pack, Pendale Foods, Slabbert Clan Group and private donors.

Your kindness and willingness to partner with us made it possible to bring warmth, nourishment, and hope to many children, elderly people, and families in our community. Because of your contribution, we were able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who needed it most.

Slabbert says that when businesses, individuals, and communities work together, a lasting positive change can be created.

Slabbert states that seeing the difference that even a small act of kindness can make in someone’s life warms her heart.
