Smax’s biggest TV break
Semakaleng Moeketsi has scored herself a big break on Mzansi Magic Telenovela, The Queen as the MEC of Community Safety.
SEDIBENG – She has appeared on several Television commercials in previous times and still shooting more.
But her debut on the biggest telenovela on Monday evening was nothing short of praises.
Semakaleng Moeketsi has scored herself a big break on Mzansi Magic Telenovela, The Queen as the MEC of Community Safety.
Moeketsi played a two-part role as Basetsena who interacts with Olerato (Harriet’s niece) who is in trouble lately after she snitched her family on a crime her aunt committed.
Olerato decided to take her complaint to higher ranks, speaking directly to the MEC as her way to get Harriet prosecuted seems to be closing in on her.
Speaking to Ster, Moeketsi shared her reaction on the love well received following the episode’s broadcast.
“I am super emotional right now. The love, support and comforting words from everyone who saw the feature is overwhelming. I took time to share my debut with most contacts and believe you me, all my people shared the information. I was actually trending,” she said.
Smax explained how she got to be featured on the program and scoring herself the opportunity.
“On the 15th of June, my agent called to inform me that Ferguson Films loved my portfolio pictures after asking different agents for a character that will be MEC. Next thing I know, my agent sent me a script and told me to be ready for the shoot, which was next day. After the shoot, one of the guys working on set told me to be ready for the next day as they will be sending another script,” she added.
Social media went abuzz following Smax’s appearance with many complementing her killer acting skills while others congratulated her.
