With heavy downpours in parts of the country public works crews from the Midvaal Local Municipality began cleaning clearing debris from bridges at Henley on Klip area on Saturday.

The SA Weather Service issued a warning for heavy rains in multiple provinces.

The municipality requested residents to be careful on river banks and low lying bridges during rainy conditions.
