SASOLBURG .- A man suffered serious burn wounds when his bakkie burst into flames in Sasolburg at the weekend.

On Monday, February 5, morning the wreckage could still be seen next to the road.

While the cause of the fire is not known, other motorists attempted to help the injured bakkie driver.

No fatalities were reported.
