Kent wins main event
Kent Main clinched victory in the 103km Midvaal Fast One Cycle Challenge with a time of 2:20.05

MIDVAAL. – One of the most iconic phrases in movie history is when Vin Diesel’s character, Dominic Toretto, in Fast and Furious says: “It does not matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning is winning!”
This sentiment proved true on Sunday, January 28, when Kent Main clinched victory in the 103km Midvaal Fast One Cycle Challenge with a time of 2:20.05, taking it from under Ryan Gibbons’s nose, who crossed the finish line in 2:20.06. Both cyclists maintained an impressive average speed of 44.12 km/h.
Blaine Kieck (2:22.23) won the u/23 men’s race and Alexander Erasmus (2:23:25) won the junior boys’ race. The first lady across the finish line was Beverly Wingfield of Velo Cycling (2:37:17). – For the full results visit: live.ultimate.dk
