Elizabeth Brendera Brandis is a 32-year Vanderbijlpark resident.
She was born and raised in Benoni, but since she can remember has had thoughts that she was adopted.
“I never truly fit in my family and have even contacted the Registrar of Adoptions to help me find the truth”. She is still waiting on official feedback from them.
Her parents have denied it for years, but Elizabeth truly believes that her biological family is out there somewhere.
She was raised Afrikaans, but she believes that she may be Greek or Italian.
“I know my biological parents must be getting older, but I will never stop searching. I have searched for so many years looking at missing children’s photos on the internet.”
