The patient was treated and stabilised on scene before being transported to a hospital in a serious condition.
MEYERTON .- A woman was stabbed multiple times in a vicious attack at the weekend.
The incident happened on Saturday evening, March 02, at Ophir Estate Informal Settlement in Meyerton.
In a statement Community Emergency Response Team (Cert-SA) said reports indicated that a female patient was stabbed multiple times and that the attacker was still in the vicinity.
“Unable to contact the South African Police Service, we contacted AFRI GUARD Security Services, who immediately dispatched their Tactical Response Team to escort us to the scene and ensure that our crew was safe while attending to the patient.”
