Elderly man found murdered in Parys
The 80-year-old man was found lying on the floor in the kitchen with his hands and feet tied up.
PARYS – Police are on the lookout for suspects after an elderly man was found murdered in his house in Parys.
Police spokesperson Captain Loraine Earle said on Sunday morning, March 03, at about 09:45, the 80-year-old man was found lying on the floor in the kitchen with his hands and feet tied up.
When the man didn’t arrive at church at 8:30 as per usual, one of the ladies of the church went to his house to check on him.
As she arrived at his house, she found the back door open and went inside. She saw him and called the police.
According to Earle there was no visible forced entry to the house.
The deceased was staying alone in the house.
