Planned water supply interruption around Vanderbijlpark

Emfuleni has warned residents of Vanderbijlpark, Tshepiso, Boipatong, Bophelong, Bophelong Extensions, Bonanne and surrounding Agricultural Holdings of water supply interruptions that will be in effect on Monday, March 18.

It was indicated that this is due to the replacement of two broken valves on an inlet pipeline supplying Vanderbijlpark reservoirs.

In a statement Emfuleni said affected consumers will still have water supply during the interruption however, water tankers will be on standby for areas that experience challenges.

“The municipality wishes to apologize for the inconvenience and further encourages residents to always use water sparingly.”
