Police engage community members

The aim of the engagement was to be able to give the community the opportunity to share their everyday challenges.

VAAL MARINA.- The Vaal Marina police together with different stakeholders engaged with the community members of Vaal Marina on Tuesday.

The stakeholders included:

• Social Crime Prevention Coordinator
• Spiritual Crime Prevention
• Agape Lerato Community Services
• SAVF
• Green- Door(temporary place of safety)

Police spokesperson, Constable Tshilidzi De Huis said that the reason, or aim of the engagement was to be able to give the community the opportunity to share their everyday challenges with the above stakeholders, and for the stakeholders to know where they can get assistance.

“Each stakeholder also given a chance to remind the community about the services that they are rendering. Questions were asked, and clarity was given to the community by all relevant stakeholders.”
