Suspect arrested after Lesotho national (28) stabbed to death

He was forcefully dragged outside by the suspects.

SEBOKENG. – A suspect is behind bars charged with murder after a body of a 28-year-old man was discovered at Masakeng in Extension 15, Sebokeng on Monday.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that the man was stabbed to death.

“It is alleged that the deceased, Motlale Modise (28), a Lesotho National, was sleeping at his place of residence in the early hours of the morning. When he was forcefully dragged outside by the suspects. The deceased was found on the street lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds and bruises. He was declared dead at the scene, and the motive behind his killing is unknown,” Mokhachane said.

One of the suspects was later arrested and an investigation into the murder is ongoing.
