This NPO makes a huge difference in helping to fulfil matric farewell dreams and their fun fundraising day hit the spot once again.

VEREENIGING – Young and old had a great time at A Girl & Guy’s Dream Come True Family Fun Day on August 31.

The potjiekos competition filled the air with delicious flavours and the Boeresport was a hit among the children.

The highlight of the day was the beauty competition. The judges had a hard time as all the candidates were worthy of the titles. Finally, Oratile Motsilanyane was crowned Miss Dream Come True Junior, and Gaby Groenewald as Miss Dream Come True Senior.

A Girl & Guy’s Dream Come True is an NPO fulfilling matric farewell dreams since 2010. The founder Louise Wood dressed five matriculants in the first year and now the total stands at 460.

“We provide everything from the shoes to the dresses, the makeup to the cars, and over the years we have obtained many sponsors for which we are eternally grateful,” says Wood.
