BOIPATONG. – A newly formed subforum in Boipatong Sector 1 is making strides in the fight against crime in Boipatong. This is after the subforum conducted an operation which yielded positive results.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela says: “The team is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the community and will continue to perform regular patrols in the area. During a recent patrol, the Community Policing Forum together with the subforum made a significant discovery.”

Maxambela reported that while conducting search operations, the team discovered dangerous weapons at one of the houses in sector one.

“The team discovered two pangas, a toy gun and knives. The items were secured and police called to investigate further.”

Maxambela said the subforum remains vigilant and will continue to work hard in upkeeping the safety of the community.
