SEDIBENG.- The MTN8 Media Trophy Tour will visit the Vaal Triangle for the second time in three months.

MooiVaal Media has been identified as the media house in Gauteng to host this tour ahead of the final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch. This much anticipated final is scheduled to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on October 5. The MTN8 Media crew will be accompanied by ex-professional players such as Fabian McCarthy and Morgan Gould on Tuesday.

These two are some of the MTN8 ambassadors.

MooiVaal Media has been identified as one of the media houses that has a huge impact in the development of football in Gauteng. However, this tour is inspired by Orlando Pirates’ sensation Relebohile Mofokeng who happen to come from Vaal. Mofokeng has been a revelation for Orlando Pirates for the past two seasons. He is expected to carry Pirates on his small shoulders when Mighty Buccaneers hope to make history by winning the MTN8.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, McCarthy said he’s looking forward to visit the Vaal. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport, coming to Vaal is always a privilege taking into consideration the history of this region when it comes to football.

“This will be the second time I visit Vaal. Thank you MTN8 for giving us this opportunity to interact with media houses in Gauteng to promote the final. This is going to be an exciting final looking at both teams’ performance in the league this season,” he concluded.
