Decomposed, stabbed body found in Eatonside

EATONSIDE. – Police responded to a crime scene near the railway track in Eatonside Area 3, where a decomposed body of an unidentified man was discovered Monday afternoon.
The body was found next to a railway mass pole, with signs of multiple stab wounds.
According to Evaton police spokesperson Constable Thulisile Msibi, the victim appeared to be in his early 40s. The body showed evidence of severe burns on the upper body and face, which authorities believe were caused by an unknown substance. Some parts of the body had been damaged, including significant injuries to the right arm and head.
The man was wearing a blue denim jean and a light brown T-shirt, but no shoes were found at the scene. A cream-white domestic tent had been used to cover the body.
Police have opened a murder case at the Evaton Police Station and are appealing to the public for any information that might assist in identifying the victim or finding those responsible.
