SEDIBENG.- Sedibeng will host two important DSTV Diski Challenge (DDC) fixtures this weekend. Orlando Pirates will host SuperSport United on Saturday while Sekhukhune United will host Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.

These much-awaited fixtures are scheduled to take place at the Isak Steyl Stadium. However, all eyes will be on the Sekhukhune United and the Sundowns game for a number of reasons. Sundowns babies are third on the log with 15 points while Sekhukhune sits at position nine. This encounter is expected to produce fireworks with Sundowns wanting to overtake Stellenbosch at the top of the log.

Stellenbosch is at the summit of the log with 17 points, with Kaizer Chiefs second with the same number of points. Sundowns can only pray that the two top teams either lose or play a draw this weekend. For example, if Stellenbosch and Chiefs lose their respective games, Sundowns will be at the top of the log with 18 points.

If Stellenbosch, Chiefs, and Sundowns lose, Pirates will be at the top of the log. These teams have a lot at stake. Local soccer fans will flock to the venue to witness this when it happens. The Pirates and SuperSport United game on Saturday kicks off at 10:00 while the Sekhukhune United and Sundowns game starts at 12:00.
