Emotional Grade 12 valedictory for Curro Academy

MIDVAAL – An emotional Valedictory event for the 2024 Matriculants of Curro Academy in Savanna City was honoured by parents, staff, and the community. The ceremony marked the end of the Grade 12 high school career as pupils were to embark on their final examinations.

The event was used to recognize the efforts the class of 2024 had made in getting this far in their journey, It also honored the accomplishments recognizing their hard work and dedication throughout their academic journey.

The event started with a prayer directed at keeping the learners safe and protected through the exams and beyond. Speakers of the day motivated the learners and encouraged them to work diligently to ensure that they passed their matric exams in order to begin their tertiary careers.

Speakers shared their academic journeys, inspiring learners and instilling a belief that they too can achieve whatever they put their mind to.

“Prestigious awards and trophies were awarded to the learners for their hard work and dedication. Especially notable, were the significant number of Grade 12s that have spent their entire high school journey, from Grade 8 to Grade 12 at Curro Academy Savanna City.”

“The ceremony provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their experiences, friendships, and personal growth. It serves as a formal goodbye, allowing learners, teachers, and staff to express their sentiments as they prepare to move on to the next chapter of their lives.

“The ceremony brought learners, families, and teachers together, fostering a sense of community and shared experience.”
