USave Zone 14 robbed

SEBOKENG.– The Sebokeng police are on the hunt for a group of armed suspects who robbed the USave Supermarket in Zone 14 on Tuesday.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane confirmed the business robbery.

“On the morning of November 5, a group of people entered the store pretending to be customers. One of them took out a firearm and instructed the staff to open the tills, while the customers queuing outside were forced inside the store by the other suspects.”

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the tills, along with various kinds of cigarettes.

A case of business robbery was registered. Police appeal to anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice. Information can be communicated to the Sebokeng SAPS on 082 498 9563, 08600 10111, 10111 or 112.
