Heron Banks will host R2 Million Mediclinic Invitational

VAALPARK – The Heron Banks Golf Club is proud to announce that it will be hosting the Sunshine Golf Tour next year.

From 16 to 19 January Heron Banks will play host to the R2 million Mediclinic Invitational. According to Robert Lance, Golf Director of Heron Banks, the club has made significant strides in 2024.

“This year, we were privileged to host two prestigious tournaments that showcased our course’s facilities. Looking ahead, we are excited about hosting the R2 Million Mediclinic Invitational from January 16 to 19, 2025 as well as the Final Stage of The Q-School from 8 to 11 April, 2025. These Sunshine Tour events promise to be a highlight on our calendar and a testament to what we can achieve together.

“In addition to these tournaments, we successfully launched the Betterball Knockouts this year. The popularity of this format has exceeded expectations, fostering camaraderie among participants while enhancing competitive spirit.”
