Sebokeng murder suspect arrested in Bloemfontein

He is accused of the brutal murder of Mzimkhulu Nhlapo and the stabbing of Nhlapo's mother during an incident in Zone 13.

SEBOKENG.-  Police investigators recently successfully arrested a suspect wanted for murder and attempted murder after relentless efforts to trace his whereabouts.

The suspect, who had been on the run, was apprehended in Bloemfontein, Free State, following a thorough tracing operation. He is accused of the brutal murder of Mzimkhulu Nhlapo and the stabbing of Nhlapo’s mother during an incident in Zone 13, Sebokeng, on December 4.

Sebokeng police spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane confirmed the arrest and said that it was due to the tireless dedication of the investigating officer and the team. “Our officers worked day and night to ensure that the suspect was brought to justice. This is a testament to the commitment of Sebokeng SAPS to ensure the safety of our community,” said Mokhachane.
