Man found stabbed in Sharpeville

His identity remains unknown at this stage.

SHARPEVILLE.- Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man who was found with fatal stab wounds in Seeiso Street, Sharpeville recently.

According to Sharpeville police spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango, the deceased was discovered lying on the ground by a passerby, who immediately called for an ambulance.

“The ambulance transported the victim to Sharpeville Clinic, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival,” said Sango.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim suffered multiple stab wounds. His identity remains unknown at this stage. Police are urging members of the community to assist in identifying the deceased.

“We appeal to anyone who has a missing loved one or any information that could assist in identifying the victim or leading to the arrest of the perpetrator to come forward,” Sango added.

Authorities have assured the public that the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sharpeville Police Station or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
