Year-end prayer for fitness fanatics

Physical training is important, but spiritual training is much more important.

SEBOKENG.- Sukuma Lutsha hosted an end-of-the-year candle prayer at the end of the year .

Sukuma Lutsha’s Luthando Bottoman said that traditionally praying is one of the organisation’s principles. They start a session with prayer and then close it with prayer.

“Then we have days where we facilitate a session in which 30 minutes is for spiritual training supported by the following Bible scripture, which is our founding Bible scripture for our programme: 1 Timothy 4:8 (Physical training is important but spiritual training is much more important because it is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come).”

The organisation’s prayer event on December 31 had the following prayer objectives in mind:

■ Finance and Prosperity

■ Growth

■ Healing

■ Career Opportunities

■ Sukuma Lutsha Leadership

The prayer was led by one of their members, a Pastor responsible for matters related to spiritual training.

Bottoman said: “30 minutes of prayer session took place followed by a Bootcamp that fired up all cylinders as we said goodbye to 2024 and welcomed 2025 on a high note. As things stand the gym is closed and will open on January 11.”
