The Sedibeng District SAPS Commissioner Major General Nkhensani Mukwevho awarded detectives from various police stations after they garnered outstanding convictions.

The awards are for the hard work and dedication that the members put in, ensuring that they thoroughly and diligently investigate cases to put criminals away for a long time.

Speaking to Ster North, Mukwevho said some of the police who were among the award winners secured life sentences in their cases.

Mukwevho congratulated the officers and encouraged them to do their best to ensure that justice is served.
