The 28th edition of this popular race organised by the Rotary Club of Riverside, took place on January 26 at the Midvaal Raceway.
The event featured two main races: a 105 km race and a fun 50 km ride.

The race was officially started by the executive mayor, Peter Teixeira.
All donations and money raised are for community projects in the area. “We would like to thank Midvaal Municipality for sponsoring the race,” says Albertus Kriel, organiser and spokesperson for Rotary Riverside.
One of the highlights of the race was during the prize-giving ceremony when MMC Mr. Mokete Motsamai and MMC Ms. Mary-Ann Myburg took to the stage to hand over the prizes to the winners.
The oldest cyclist was 86 years old and he finished the 105 km race.
