Woman’s lifeless body discovered on Valentine’s day

The woman was declared dead by the Emergency Medical Services and taken to Sebokeng Forensic Pathology Services.

SEBOKENG – Police in Sebokeng have taken a man into custody on a charge of murder after his lover’s lifeless body was discovered on Valentine’s Day. The incident happened in Kanana.

The gruesome discovery was made by the woman’s son after realising that his mom had not gotten out of bed.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane confirmed the lifeless body of a woman was found when police arrived at the scene.

Preliminary investigations determined the deceased and her partner were drinking beers before going to bed.

The woman was declared dead by the Emergency Medical Services and taken to Sebokeng Forensic Pathology Services.

Following the incident, police have cautioned members of the community against tampering with scenes of crime.

“We urge the community against tampering with any crime scene as police need to gather evidence.”

Mokhachane confirmed the arrest of a suspect, adding that he will appear in court soon.
