VANDERBIJLPARK – Motorists in SW5 are baffled. Their headache is caused by an enormous ditch that has formed at the corner of Delius and Beethoven Streets.

A water pipe was recently repaired twice by the Emfuleni Local Municipality. The hole was only filled with sand and not re-tarred.

After the recent high rainfall, the hole turned into a ditch. Councillor Maureen Dosoudil has reported this several times.
