SEDIBENG.- Perfect Academy continued their fine run when they beat Real Hearts FC 2-1 in the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League match.

This mouth-watering encounter took place at George Thabe Stadium in Sharpeville, tomorrow, Saturday with the local soccer fans expected to come in numbers to support the home team. The George Thabe Stadium has become a happy hunting ground for Perfect Academy for the past two seasons, challenging the league little.

They look like a team that means business, sitting at the top of the log since the beginning of the 2024/2025 season. The team made headlines when one of their youngsters, Moeketsi Mokete joined a top Botswana club. This has since inspired other players to dream big seeing one of their former teammates signed by a top club. Not only that, playing for a club that is associated with Orlando Pirates midfielder Relebohile Mofokeng, is also great motivation for those players.

These are some of the reasons why the club is doing well in the regional league. Perfect Academy signed the best-talented players in Sharpeville. Magiya Soso has been one of the top players as a top goal scorer in the book of Perfect Academy for the past two seasons.

Perfect Academy Head Coach, the father of Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng, said they take every game as it comes. He said they don’t want to put themselves under unnecessary pressure.

“It is one game at a time for us and I’m happy with our progress in winning the crucial games. But having said that, we can only improve from here,” he told Sedibeng Ster Sport.
