SHARPEVILLE.- A case of business robbery is being investigated by the Sharpeville police after they responded to a complaint at Boxer Wholesale, Tshepiso Crossing, last Friday, February 21.
Sharpeville police spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango said that upon arrival, the complainant stated that he was on duty at the Post Bank cards distribution point for SASSA beneficiaries when three unknown men wearing face masks approached.
“Two of the suspects were armed with firearms, which they pointed at the complainant and his colleagues, instructing them to lie on the floor. The suspects fled the scene with a set of Haval car keys, an ID scanner, a Lenovo laptop, a fingerprint scanner, and two cellphones,” Sango said.
No injuries were reported.
