Mobile clinics to provide much-needed healthcare

The initiative underscores the government’s commitment to bringing services to communities’ doorsteps.

SEDIBENG.- Gauteng Health MEC Nomantu Nkomo Ralehoko recently handed 16 mobile clinics to Heath District Chief Directors (Johannesburg, Tshwane, Ekurhuleni, Sedibeng, and West Rand).

The health department said the initiative underscores the government’s commitment to bringing services to communities’ doorsteps, ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing quality healthcare services.

“The mobile clinics will provide essential health services, including TB, STI, and Diabetes screening, pregnancy testing, child immunisation, deworming, and HIV testing, among others.”
