Tlaitlai excelled in the Gauteng Blue Economy essay competition for inland schools.

SHARPEVILLE.- Katleho Tlaitlai, a Grade 11 Marine Sciences learner at the Mohloli Maths, Science & ICT School of Specialization-Maritime in Vuka, Sharpeville  is ‘one for the future’.

Tlaitlai excelled in the Gauteng Blue Economy essay competition for inland schools, achieving 1st position recently.

The school, in a statement, said that his essay demonstrated outstanding awareness of the Human impact ocean topic. As a result, the Department of Fishery, Forest and Environment has invited him to visit Cape Town, where he will travel from today, March 10 to 13.

“Have a successful trip young man. Go and acquire knowledge and put our school and district on the map.”
