SEBOKENG.– The Sebokeng police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a lifeless body in Sonderwater on March 7.

Sebokeng police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane, said police officers responded to a call and arrived at the scene to find the body of an unidentified man, believed to be in his early thirties, lying on the ground.

“Upon examination, the man was found to have suffered a stab wound to his upper body and was declared dead on the scene by Emergency Medical Services,” she said.

The deceased was wearing a blue T-shirt, beige trousers, and black Nike sneakers. Police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in identifying the man or shedding light on the circumstances surrounding his death.

“We urge anyone who may be missing a relative or friend matching this description to come forward,” Mokhachane added.
