SEBOKENG.- Sedibeng Netball Federation in partnership with Nedbank embarked on a campaign to donate sports shoes.

The two parties made a surprise visit to Qhoweng Primary School in Zone 13 on Monday to donate school shoes to those learners who play netball.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Sedibeng Netball Federation President Fakazile Nkitseng said they started this initiative to reward those learners who play netball at school level. This initiative is aimed at helping young netballers at school level by donating school and sports shoes.
This initiative known as “Donate Sports Shoes Drive” is to encourage learners to participate in sports, especially netball at primary level.

Nkitseng said he was pleased with the response from Nedbank to be part of this initiative and make a great start.

“We want to thank our sponsor Nedbank for their positive response to our call and I do not doubt that this relationship will go a long way. We want to plea to the businesses and companies around Sedibeng to come on board and make this initiative better and even bigger. We want to help as much as possible because we all know that our athletes need our support on and off the field. As Sedibeng Netball Federation we take good care of players from primary school level,” said Nkitseng.
