Suspect arrested in Sharpeville murder case

The nurse is said to have further explained to the police that the deceased came with a witness

SHARPEVILLE.- The Sharpeville police have arrested a suspect after a man died at the Sharpeville Clinic recently.

Police spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango said that the police received a complaint at Sharpeville clinic of death on arrival. She adds that upon arrival, they were shown the deceased by the nurse on duty who informed them (police) that the deceased sustained two stab wounds. The nurse is said to have further explained to the police that the deceased came with a witness.

“Upon interview of the witness, it was discovered that the deceased was stabbed by a suspect who was known, and later arrested,” Sango concluded.
