According to MLM, Magodi brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors.
MIDVAAL – A unanimous endorsement during the third ordinary council sitting held on March 27 by Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) has resulted in the appointment of Phumudzo Magodi as the new municipal manager, effective from April 1. This follows the departure of former MM, Anton Groenewald.
According to MLM, Magodi brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors.
“He has held senior leadership roles in multiple municipalities, including Midvaal, serving as head of the Department for Engineering and Technical Services.
“In these roles, he has been instrumental in the strategic development and implementation of key municipal policies, including the Integrated Development Plan and performance management frameworks to enhance service delivery.”
MLM states that Magodi’s academic credentials are equally impressive.
“With his extensive expertise in engineering, infrastructure development, and municipal administration, Magodi is well-positioned to drive Midvaal’s continued growth and service excellence.”
