Sharpeville SAPS’ CPF educated on their roles

The purpose of the orientation was to explain the role of the CFP and YCPD at the station level.

VEREENIGING.- Provincial social crime prevention and Youth Desk Coordinator under the stewardship of Sharpeville SAPS’ Colonel Ramashala conducted an orientation for the Community Police Forum (CPF) and Youth Desk at Rand Water in Vereeniging this week.

The purpose of the orientation was to explain the role of the CFP and YCPD at the station level.

Among other stakeholders that were present at the orientation were representatives from Rand Water and the Department of Community Safety. Nhlamulo Sekobela from the Department of Community Safety welcomed those in attendance and encouraged the youth desk to take part in such activities so that they can have knowledge and be empowered.

Sharpeville SAPS spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango said that the event was a success.
