SEBOKENG.- The Sebokeng police attached to Sebokeng SAPS are investigating a double murder case after two men (37) and (39) were found murdered in Zone 10, Sebokeng, in the early hours of Sunday.

It is alleged that the two men were drinking at Faida’s tavern and had an argument. Both were ordered to leave the premises and while they were outside the tavern, a fight erupted until one of them stabbed the other on the upper body several times. A few seconds later, several gunshots were heard and it was discovered that the suspect who had stabbed the deceased was shot several times on his body by an unknown suspect who fled the scene and went in an unknown direction.

“Both males were declared dead on the scene by the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and further taken to Forensic Pathology Services for further investigation. The cause of the stabbing and shooting is currently unknown, and the police would like to plead with the public to assist with any information that may help with investigations,” said police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane.
