A miracle story…from cleaner to HR

“Ms Dladla is proving to be an individual who consistently seeks new knowledge and skills throughout her life."

SEDIBENG.-  The Sedibeng Health District (SDH) recently welcomed an Acting Wellness Coordinator into its midst.

Dikeledi Dladla was welcomed into the Human Resources (HR) department.

“We’re thrilled to have her join this team and look forward to her contributions in growing the office further,” the SDH said.

Dladla has been working for the health department for 34 years, where she started as a cleaner at Tukisong Clinic in Residensia. In 2006, she got appointed as an Auxiliary Worker (Health Promoter) at Evaton Main Clinic. In 2018 she acquired her Honors Degree in Social Work while serving at Albertina Sisulu Clinic.

Due to her dedication, humility, and hard work in serving people, in 2021, she was appointed as a Senior Community Liaison Officer at the District Office under the Health Promotion Programme.

“Ms Dladla is proving to be an individual who consistently seeks new knowledge and skills throughout her life. In 2024, she completed a course in Employee Wellness at the University of South Africa. On behalf of the entire Sedibeng Health Employees, management would like to extend its warm welcome again and is excited about Ms Dladla’s contributions. We are eager to support her as she is starting a new adventure in the office of Occupational Health and Safety.”
