SEDIBENG.- Trendy056 aka Tsholofelo Ishmael Diseko is an emerging artist that is making waves in the South African music scene.

The Viljoenskroon, Free State born artist, he has carved out a unique sound that resonates with audiences across the nation.

Currently based in Sasolburg, he blends traditional hip-hop influences with contemporary elements, creating a fresh and captivating musical experience. After completing matric in 2021, Trendy056 left his hometown to live with his grandmother in Sharpeville in pursuit of his musical dreams.

Although he enrolled in college, to further his studies, he soon realised that academic life wasn’t for him, and that his passion for music outweighed everything else.

In September 2024, Trendy056 gained significant national recognition when he made his debut appearance on SABC 2’s Morning Live, introducing his talent to a wider audience. That same year, his dedication and creativity were recognised when he won the prestigious Best Hip Hop Music Video award at the Mzansi Arts and Media Awards, a major milestone in his rising career.

Further solidifying his impact, one of his standout music videos, Xtra Xtra Ord, was playlisted on top continental music channels, SoundCity and Trace Urban, showcasing his talent to an even broader African audience.

Beyond the music, Trendy056 has made strides in the fashion world. He became the face of local clothing brand Siya Swenka, reflecting his deep influence not only in sound but also in style.

Known for his powerful lyrics, raw storytelling, and electrifying stage presence, Trendy056 draws inspiration from his personal journey and the vibrant culture of South Africa. As he continues to evolve, he remains committed to inspiring the youth and contributing meaningfully to the hip-hop landscape.
