SHARPEVILLE.- The Sharpeville police are investigating a case of murder after a body of a man was found behind Tau Bazaar in Sharpeville yesterday, Wednesday.

It is said that the Sharpeville police were summoned to a scene of murder at the river behind Tau Bazaar and upon their arrival, they were met by the body of a man with visible injuries on the face and the back of the head.

“The body of the deceased was removed from the river by the SAPS water wing. The motive of the murder is unknown at this stage,” Sharpeville police spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango said.

The police are appealing to the members of the community who might know the deceased to come forward as the deceased is unknown at this stage.
